Gutsense

Our project, GutSense, aims to help people who struggle with digestive issues due to food intolerances, like those triggered by lactose or certain sugars. Currently, testing for these intolerances is complicated, expensive, and not always accurate. Many people suffer from bloating, cramps, and discomfort, which greatly affects their daily lives and well-being.

Our solution is a simple, non-invasive, AI-enhanced breath test device. By blowing into the device, we can detect specific markers, like hydrogen and methane, that are linked to food intolerances. This provides an easy, accurate, and affordable way for people to discover food intolerances. This not only improves quality of life but also reduces healthcare costs by lowering the need for lengthy doctor visits and unnecessary treatments.

Through the Biotech Booster programme, we will refine this technology, run clinical validation studies, and prepare for its entry into the market. Our aim is to make RespiQ’s solution widely available so that people with food intolerance can have access to an affordable and accurate tool to make informed choices for their health.
