FerMetaFix

Fermenting a Healthier Future
Microbiome-Inspired Foods for Metabolic Health

Obesity and related conditions like diabetes and heart disease are increasing rapidly worldwide, placing a heavy burden on people’s health and healthcare systems. Current medicines can help but they are often costly, have side effects, and remain out of reach for many. At FermBiosis we started FerMetaFix, because we believe that food itself can and should be part of the solution.

FerMetafix uses biotechnology to transform natural, plant-based materials into foods that actively support a healthier metabolism. By using fermentation, we enrich foods with health promoting metabolites, natural compounds that help regulate appetite, reduce inflammation, and improve how the body processes energy. This innovative approach creates functional foods that work in harmony with the body, offering an affordable and sustainable alternative.

Through the Biotech Booster program, FerMetaFix will further develop and test these concepts, to ensure they are both effective and scalable. By focusing on locally sourced, plant-based materials, we aim to strengthen regional agriculture while making healthier nutrition accessible to everyone. Our goal is to empower individuals to take charge of their health with everyday foods that are good for both people and planet.
