Planet B.io is located at the Biotech Campus Delft, a unique location that has been a center of excellence for industrial biotechnology since 1869. Today, around 1200 people and 28 biotech companies are active on the campus, ranging from corporates (dsm-firmenich, Lesaffre, Centrient) to scale-ups and start-ups. The campus also includes a pilot plant and greenfield space for building new production facilities. Since 2023, a partnership with the ASR Dutch Science Park Fund has secured a bright future for the campus, with the intention to invest €500 million in new lab and office buildings over the coming 20 years. Planet B.io is responsible for developing the local community and connecting it to the (inter)national biotech ecosystem.
About the position
As Sales & Marketing Associate, you will support Planet B.io’s growth and visibility by coordinating marketing activities, managing the sales funnel, and maintaining strong relationships with prospective tenants and members.
Your responsibilities include:
• Creating and rolling out Planet B.io’s marketing activities and campaigns in collaboration with external marketing partners.
• Ensuring that marketing materials are integrated across online and offline communication channels, including the website, social media, newsletters, and presentations (in collaboration with their Communication Manager).
• Executing the acquisition process for new companies, including follow-up with leads, maintaining a clear overview of the sales funnel, and managing the pipeline for both companies settling on campus and external members using Planet B.io’s services.
• Supporting operational collaboration with a.s.r. real estate, including meetings on acquisition progress, funnel management, and forecasting campus occupancy.
• Implementing and managing a new CRM system.
• Supporting Planet B.io’s visibility and outreach at conferences, events, and through digital channels.
• Contributing to the success of the Planet B.io organization as a proactive team member.
You will report to the Managing Director and work closely with the Business Development Manager, the Partnership Manager, and the Communication Manager.
Your profile
• Recently completed a bachelor’s or master’s degree in biotechnology, life sciences, or a related field.
• Strong interest in the business side of biotechnology, marketing, and sales.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Affinity with innovation and entrepreneurship.
• Hands-on attitude with attention to detail.
• Fluent in English and Dutch, spoken and written.

Offer
